The Northern California Home & Landscape Expo debuted in January of 1995. Show producer, Gary Brown Enterprises, is a family-owned and operated company that has been producing consumer trade shows since 1984.

The Home & Landscape Expo began with record-breaking attendance and has continued to be the largest show of its kind in all of California. The 2010 event had 37,814 people attend over the three days. Aside from local homeowners, the show draws attendees from more than five surrounding counties.

Over 1000 exhibit booths and 600 different companies fill all of the buildings at the Cal Expo Fairgrounds in Sacramento, California. Approximately 80% of the exhibitors re-sign for the show year after year. In addition to great companies, there are also special venues that are big attractions to showgoers. Some of these include the Landscape Showcase building, display gardens, and Workshops.
